The staff at A Better Hearing Center has over 60 years of combined experience and is looking forward to helping you with your hearing healthcare needs.

At A Better Hearing Center, we pride ourselves on developing long-term relationships with our patients -- relationships based on surpassed personal service that begins the first time you walk through our doors and continues long after your initial appointment.

Jim Stobaugh, as a Hearing Specialist, has demonstrated an ability to provide excellent patient care with a strong sense of caring for his patients needs.

Jim has worked with many different hearing products during his twenty-three-year career and is exceptionally knowledgeable with all makes and models of hearing aids. His passion and abilities will provide the community with a much-needed service.

Jim has been a Hearing Aid Specialist for over 23 years, and along with his wife Tammy, they have a combined 50-plus years in the hearing industry. Jim has been Nationally Board Certified since 2005.

Courtney Pennington

Courtney Pennington is a licensed Hearing Aid Provider with A Better Hearing Center in Monument Colorado. She graduated high honors from Campbell University with a Bachelor of Science, a focus in pre-med, and a minor in Psychology.  Courtney spent the majority of her career in Veterinary Medicine, managing various hospitals and clinics, as she traveled with her Military husband and two sons around the United States.

Over the last few years, Courtney found her calling in Hearing Health Sciences and her passion for communication and helping those in her community bloomed! Courtney is most dedicated to educating people about the long-term effects of hearing loss, especially on cognitive decline, and the importance of early detection and prevention. Her desire is to help guide those in her community on their journey to better overall health. After all, happiness is better hearing!
